The film premiered with positive ratings from movie critics and fans. Aubrey’s salary for the role was $500K the same as Hunger Games stars Liam Hemsworth and Jennifer Lawrence. Her ethnicity is Puerto Rican and Irish. Born in a middle class family in Wilmington Delaware Aubrey began acting at an early age. Her parents named her after the song Aubrey by the group Bread. She uses her childhood experiences with her little sister and humble beginnings as a source of inspiration for her character portrayal in Parks and Recreations.
Her first jobs in the industry were behind the scenes at NBC working as an intern for Saturday Night Live and an NBC page. She studied at New York University with actress Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen and Kate Hudson while interning. In 2007 she suffered a stroke which caused temporary paralysis but she has since fully recovered. Her career began with stand up and comedy sketch performances at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in 2004. Her first big film role came in 2009′s Funny People playing Seth Rogen’s love interest. She is currently dating actor Jeff Baena who starred in the 2004 hit movie I Heart Huckabees.
