His earnings from 2005-2011 are $12 million but in 2012 Khaled had a series of financial issues which all became public when the music producer was served an eviction notice on his Miami mansion. He missed several rent payments totaling to a whopping $55,000. Khaled was served eviction papers and taken to court. The story was first published by TMZ August 2012.
DJ Khaled’s earnings are from production credits from some of the biggest songs in Rap music in the past 5 years. Songs like Out Here Gridnin, Go Hard and All I Do Is Win sold over 1 million downloads each. August 2010 he signed to Cash Money a deal worth an estimated $2 million for 5 albums. Prior to the multi million dollar deal Khaled was releasing music under his label We The Best.
Artist on the label include Ace Hood, Mavado, Vado, Nino Brown and Red Rum an artist from Richmond, Virginia who got involved in a series of legal wranglings which lead to him being dropped from the label in 2012. That same year Khaled signed a partnership deal with Cash Money and Warner Bros for the label. He was given a $1.5 million cash advance. Ace Hood’s album Trials & Tribulations was the first release under the partnership deal in July 2013.

The same day, Flex premiered Khaled’s new single, titled “I Wanna Be with You” which featured Minaj, as well as frequent collaborators Future and Rick Ross. Rumors were ignited from social media and blogs like Perez Hilton alleging Nicki got a restraining order against the DJ. In his defense Nicki Minaj stated the proposal was for fun and she and DJ Khaled are close friends.
