Steven Ray is the star of Discovery Channel’s highest rated series Moonshiners. Steven’s nickname Tickle has become a favorite of the series which in it’s 3rd season. But producers have realized they have a true star on their hands. With his country accent and lovable personality Tickle has got his own series. He was rewarded a $1 million salary package for appearing in Moonshiners season 3 and his own series. The series showcases Tickle and his friends and family members who help him run his illegal liquor productions in Southern Virginia. He has had several run ins with the law since filming began but according to the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, nothing illegal is actually taking place in the series and if it were law enforcement would have been involved. They also asked producers of Tickle and Moonshiners to display a disclaimer stating this is only a depiction.
Franklin County Virginia rogue moonshiner Tickle is in a bind. He has a new still site in the middle of nowhere. He says it takes forever and a day to get there. Tickle has enlisted Howard to help him out as he has strayed from former partner Tim. One night Tickle and Howard were filling their pump and their water pump went bust. The moon string broke on it putting their mid season run on ice. Even if Tickle gets lucky getting the pump working, the wood sides of his Virginia submarine pod would need a couple more days to saturate with water and swell to form an air tight seal. Tickle is flat broke and in hawk to a fellow moonshiner. He owes money out and has people depending on him. It’s not a good way to get his solo career moving.
Tickle’s new site is deep in the Appalachian mountains. One thing he took with him from Tim was you can never stay too far from the Law. He installed camouflage security cameras that blend in with the environment. It has a motion censor on it. It has two lenses, one for day time and one for night. He used to detect the environment to make sure no one passes through before setting up his site. Will it be a successful run?
